We are delighted to have you as a new student at Midwestern! It is certainly a time to celebrate as you step out in obedience to prepare for a lifetime of ministry.
We desire to help you get acclimated to our campus, and New Student Orientation is a vital part of this process. All new students are required to attend orientation. It’s also important to note that during the course of the day, student ID and directory photos will be taken, so please dress appropriately (shirt and tie for men).
Dates for NSO (New Student Orientation) are as follows:
Orientation will begin at 8:00 a.m. and conclude around 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel. Prior to attending New Student Orientation, please read the Student Hand Book and be prepared to sign a statement indicating that you have done so at New Student Orientation. The Hand Book may be found in the first 19 pages of the academic catalog, which is on our web site (http://www.mbts.edu/academics/catalog/).
Other important information pertaining to NSO:
* Please know the make and model of your car, as well as your license plate number
* Student ID and directory photos will also be taken throughout the course of the day, so please dress in Sunday attire (shirt and tie for men).
* Undergraduates Only: All new students under the age of 21 and single will be required to live on campus, unless they are living with an immediate family member. Please also note that all incoming freshmen are required to take the Freshmen Experience class (U-GS 100).
We look forward to seeing you at this event. Please email the Student Development Office (admissions@mbts.edu) or call us at 1-800-944-6287 if you have further questions.
Thanks, and welcome to Midwestern!
