Financial Aid

Welcome to the Financial Aid page for Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary & College, SBC.

We are glad you are interested in learning more about the financial aid process.

There are 6 Steps to Financial Aid

Step 1:  File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov.  Midwestern's school code is: 002485

Step 2:  Apply for outside scholarships. Does your church or church association have scholarships for students preparing for the ministry?

              Do you qualify for an employee/employer tuition reimbursement or dependent scholarship?

Step 3:  For returning students, complete the scholarship application form

Step 4:  When you receive your financial aid award letter from Midwestern, sign and date it and return it to the Financial Aid Office.

Step 5:  For first time borrowers, complete the Master Promissory Note and Loan Entrance Counseling at: www.studentloans.gov

Step 6:  Check the status of your financial aid on the student portal
