Library Purpose Statement (도서관 목적 성명서)

The purpose of Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary & College, SBC, is to biblically educate God-called men and women to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

 남침례 교단 소속, 미드웨스턴 침례 신학 대학원 대학은 전 세계에서 하나님의 부르심을 받을 남녀 학생들을 성경적으로 교육하여  예수 그리스도의 제자들로 만들기 위하여 존재합니다.

Library Purpose

도서관의 목적

The Library supports this mission by developing, maintaining, and preserving collections and information services in order to build a resource base for research and to promote personal and spiritual growth.

미드웨스턴 도서관은 이용자들의 리서치를 위한 자료 기지를 구축하고  개인적 성장과 영적 성장을 촉진하기 위하여 소장품목들과  정보 서비스를 계발하고, 유지하며, 보존함으로써 이 미드웨스턴의 사명을 지원합니다.

The MBTS Library Objectives:

1. To acquire, maintain, and provide materials and technology to support the curriculum.
2. To acquire, maintain, and provide materials and technology to support leadership in ministry.
3. To acquire, maintain, and provide materials and technology to support relational, personal, and spiritual growth.
4. To provide learning opportunities for students in the use of library materials and resources.
5. To acquire, maintain, and preserve material related to the institution as an archival resource.
6. To provide collection information to the Library’s constituent groups.

미드웨스턴 도서관의 목표:  미드웨스턴도서관은 

1. 커리큘럼을 지원하기 위하여 자료들과 과학기술을 취득하고, 유지하며, 제공할 것이다.
2. 목회 현장에서의 리더쉽을 지원하기 위하여 자료들과 과학기술을 취득하고, 유지하며, 제공할 것이다.
3. 관계적, 개인적, 그리고 영적 성장을 지원하기 위하여 자료들과 과학기술을 취득하고, 유지하며, 제공할 것이다.
4. 학생들이 도서관 자료들과 참고 자료들을 이용함에 있어 학습의 기회를 제공할 것이다.
5. 본 학교와 관련한 자료들을 고문서 자료로서 취득하고, 유지하며, 제공할 것이다.
6. 도서관 구성 그룹들에게 소장품에 관련한 정보를 제공할 것이다.
