Hello Ladies,
My name is Leslie Umstattd, and I have been blessed with the task of ministering to, you, the women of Midwestern. In July 2009, I took on the task of Wisdom Director.
As a graduate of Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, I am familiar with seminary life and all the opportunities that await students as they prepare for ministry. As a wife and mom of two, I am aware of the challenges that ministry has while nurturing and maintaining a family.
The Wisdom program is designed to equip the wives of seminary students to walk along side their husbands in ministry as well as maintain their own ministries in their home, church, and community. The Wisdom courses are designed and taught with diligence and much prayer. The classes are generally offered on Monday and Tuesday nights with free childcare offered during the classes.
My goal as Wisdom director is to offer classes and events that will equip and encourage the wives of Midwestern students as well as other women on campus. I hope that you will join me in this endeavor.
