FROM THE PRESIDENT
Midwestern Seminary is poised in the unique position to be a major contributor to the fulfillment of the Great Commission in our generation. Theological education is obviously a biblical directive of Jesus as outlined in those strategic verses in Matthew 28:18-20. He explicitly and urgently said, "Go teach them to observe all things, whatsoever I have commanded you".
Midwestern Seminary is totally committed to fulfill what Christ has commanded. Our assignment is to take God-called men and women and to lead them through the marvelous adventure of biblical studies. We also expose students to the wonderful tapestry of God's work through the ages and the articulation of biblical positions in the academic world of theology. Given all these necessary and exciting adventures in learning, education is not our sole concern or aim. Rather, we are interested in application. Jesus said explicitly, "Teach them to observe all things" which He taught His disciples.
Therefore Midwestern Seminary is dedicated to applying the teachings of the Gospel to a lost and needy world.
These include:
- The great truths of God's redemptive grace
- The supremacy and exclusivisity of salvation through Jesus Christ
- The wonderful redeeming word of the cross that frees all people from sin who come to the resurrected Christ and bow the knee of Lordship to Him.
Prayerfully consider Midwestern Seminary for your own future.
