Kenette Harder

Director of Library Services, Associate Professor of Library and Information Sciences


Ms. Harder serves as the director of library services and associate professor of library and information sciences. She came to Midwestern in 2015 after having served most recently as the Acquisitions and Collection Development Librarian at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. She has held many other roles in library services since serving at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary beginning in 1978. She earned the Master of Library Science from Texas Woman’s University in 1978 after earning the Bachelor of Arts in History and Psychology from William Jewell College in 1977.

Ms. Harder is a regular presenter at various library and information science conferences and is a member of the American Theological Library Association, the Association of Christian Librarians, and the Association of Librarians and Archivists at Baptist Institutions.
