SUMMARY: Mail Clerk performs clerical tasks for the financial services relating to mail service, courier and miscellaneous duties; processes incoming mail for Post Office pickup; and delivers incoming and departmental mail . The position also includes handling bulk mailings and depositing money.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job succesfuly, an individual should have the ability to be bonded, dependable and accurate; have valid drivers license, own auto, have auto insurance; have the ability to perform clerical duties with speed and accuracy. The person should also own his/her own transportation.

SUMMARY:
The Circulation Librarian will be responsible for the circulation of books and other materials, supervise student assistants, and handle delinquent fines and overdue materials. They will also process new materials for circulation, prepare and maintain Reserve Books, assist with interlibrary loan activities in Missouri Bibliographic Information Users System, answer minor reference questions and general information, assist with New Student Orientation, and act as the liaison to order yearly IRS tax forms and information.

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Assist Director of Student Recruitment and recruitment program for Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Midwestern Baptist College, SBC. Assistant will be responsible for helping as need with recruiting trips, campus visits, Preview Day, promotional materials, prospective student follow-up, and statistical data. Applicants should be active in a Southern Baptist congregation and affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow-up with prospective students by making phone calls and sending e-mails.
- Burn CDs and assemble recruiting materials.
- Schedule and conduct campus tours.
- Schedule flights, hotels, and rental cars for recruiting trips.

JOB TITLE: Safety and Custodial Supervisor |

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Be responsible for inspecting and ensuring that the buildings on campus are clean, safe and secure. Areas of responsibility include offices, classrooms, restrooms and public areas.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect offices, classrooms and building public areas to make sure they are clean, safe and secure
- Coordinate event set-ups and tear-downs
- Maintain cleaning and locksmith supplies and paper inventory
- Maintain accurate MSDS information on cleaning supplies
- Inspect and maintain janitorial equipment
- Insure all main campus buildings are unlocked in AM, locked in PM
- Train all new custodial personnel
- Maintain MBTS Emergency Action Plan
- Maintain MBTS key and lock system, cutting keys and combinating lock cores as required
- Assist custodians and other Campus Operations Personnel as requested by the Director.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Daily:
- Insure the unlock/lock of all main campus doors as instructed in “Lock/Unlock Procedures”
- Check work orders for any tasks that have been assigned to safety and custodial supervisor or staff
- Coordinate work of custodial staff as needed to assure that all tasks are completed
- Verify that all set-ups are complete as per ES-100 requests
- Monitor security logs and take appropriate action
Weekly:
- Check office paper supply and place order if needed
- Check supply of cleaning materials and order/purchase if needed
- Check campus buildings for safety and security concerns
Monthly:
- Complete or assign staff to complete monthly preventive maintenance tasks as generated by work orders
- Review campus Emergency Action Plan and update as required
JOB TITLE: General Maintenance - Painting |

General Description: This Campus Operations position will primarily perform painting duties campus wide. Secondary assignments in grounds operation and/or custodial maintenance will likely be possible as time is available. Flexibility and willingness to perform various types of duties is necessary. Working in the heat is to be expected. Flexible work schedule will most likely be required with both starting and quitting times fluctuating. Moderate to heavy lifting required.
Major Areas of Responsibility: interior and exterior painting; light maintenance and clean–up; and various grounds operation tasks.
Qualifications/Priorities: High school diploma or GED; painting experience preferred and ability to perform light maintenance types of tasks; excellent inter-personal skills is a must and the ability to work steadily with or without supervision; flexibility and willingness to work with a positive attitude is critical.

General Description: The campus grounds maintenance employees are responsible for the general appearance and upkeep of the grounds and shop at the Main Campus and North Campus. This includes, flower beds, grassy area, trees, and parking areas. General duties of all grounds employees will be the same, specific duties will vary according to skill.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Flower beds
-
In early spring, clean flower beds and plant perennial beds.

Remove weeds from all beds as needed throughout spring, summer and fall.
-Water and fertilize beds as needed.
2.Grassy areas
-
Keep all grassy areas mowed to appropriate height. This includes fields, around all buildings, gazebo area, ball field, and along N. Oak, Vivion Rd, and Troost Ave.

Trim and/or edge around buildings, trees, sidewalks, streets, parking areas, flower beds, etc.

Apply weed killer and/or fertilizer as requested by supervisor.
3.Trees and shrubs – all work should be done as directed by supervisor

Remove dead and/or damaged trees or tree branches

Trim or remove and replace shrubs
4.Parking areas, streets, and sidewalks

Patch damaged areas of surface material as directed by supervisor

Remove snow and/or ice as needed
5.Shop and garages

Return all equipment, tools and campus vehicles to their designated storage area at the end of your shift

Clean dirt and/or debris from all equipment and tools after each use and before storage

Maintain order of all toolboxes, benches and tool storage areas

Keep dirt, sawdust, and other debris swept up and cleaned from benches and floors in shop and garages

General Description: The Housing and Grounds Custodian is responsible for the general appearance and cleanliness of the campus. This includes assuring that the grounds are free from trash and debris, and that foyers, basements, patios and decks, and apartment entryways are free from trash and other unsightly or hazardous items. Control and cleanliness of the parking lots is also a responsibility of the person holding this position.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be physically capable of performing general cleaning duties as well as possessing organizational skills. The qualified individual should be dependable, self motivated and trustworthy in all areas of personal and professional development. This employee must portray self confidence and not be intimidated by occasional confrontation.
